Agilaire’s 8872 data logger is a true digital site platform for all your site needs, including traditional I/O, direct polling of serial/Ethernet-based equipment, and providing a host platform for other required site software such as APICOM, iPort, and more! All of this is controlled by a user-friendly interface familiar to any AirVision user.

The 8872 ships with a vast library of communication drivers for widely-available instruments from manufacturers like MetOne, Teledyne, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Viasala, and more. Additionally, drivers can be built to your specifications using Agilaire’s flexible configuration system so that you can keep all your existing equipment without compromising on what data you collect.

That flexibility extends to the physical connection. The 8872 supports analog and digital instruments, serial and Ethernet devices, and protocol-driven equipment, all on the same logger. So a shelter holding instruments from four vendors and three product generations doesn’t need four different acquisition systems. And because drivers lives in configuration, adding a monitor or swapping a vendor later is a change you make without replacing the logger.
