AirVision Version 4.11 (build 46) Release Notes – January 15, 2026
Issues Found and Resolved
- Some pick list fields in Data Source Details were enlarged/widened to better display instrument and driver names.
- Annotations resulting from the ‘audit’ feature key were not being consolidated in the annotations report when they were contiguous – this was addressed.
- Calibration Results report logic corrected to not consider the Calibration Span field from Site/Parameter if the phase error method is “Ambient(L)”.
- Improvements made to code surrounding ‘Approve’ action in data editor to offer faster application.
- Issues with the Freq column and bottom row were addressed on the Joint Frequency Distribution Report.
- Change made to the AirVision client to address an intermittent .NET DragDrop exception pop up.
- Instrument polling logic updated to better handle ‘cookies’ when polling APIs (i.e. V2 Aeroqual Quant).
- The historical AQI calculation utility has been updated to include the last hour when run (i.e. a time range of 00:00-23:59 will now include calculating for hour 23).
- Improvements were made to the Math Parameter Calculator to speed up performance.
New Features
- SQL ‘syntax’ highlighting function added to SQL Execution Tool and SQL scheduled tasks, to help with troubleshooting scripting issues.
- Previous Year Lookback feature added to Wind/Pollution Rose report, if set > 0, the report will use additional data for the same month / day range for X previous years (date range cannot span multiple years).
- Data Source Details channel editors for types Vector/Scalar Wind Speed/Direction GSI (V/W/7/8) now let you select any channel type as the Input channel. **only for 8864**
- Asset Tracking ‘Fair’ condition added to pick list and ‘exclude’ column header updated to match Additional Details text.
- The application installer code has been changed to help better handle security apps like Crowdstrike affecting the SQL extraction needed as part of the installation/upgrade. If the added logic can’t address it, a warning will be presented to the user.
- More instructional wording has been added to the application installer screens and the database update utility.
- The XC qualifier code was added.
- The flow related monitor assessment editors have been updated to set the unit code to 118 if set to 105 in Site/Parameter, and to 073 if set to 001 in Site/Parameter.
- Coding has been updated regarding the NowCast Server API so that the target parameter of the AQI program is identified and its Reported Unit is used.
- A Utility Setting Editor has been added to the Configuration Editors menu, this will allow easier administration of utility settings (previously handled through database scripting). Settings should NOT be changed without consulting Agilaire support.
- A UtilitySetting (TimeSync8864ExcludeCommTest) was added. The default setting (False) retains current behavior of including a 00 comm test command, setting to True will omit the communication test command 00 before it syncs the time (**8864 ONLY**).
- A UtilitySetting (ToolTipAutoHide) was added. The default setting (1) retains current auto hide behavior of hover over pop up windows, setting to 0 will disable the auto hide.
- A UtilitySetting (ShowExcludedCalibrationResults) was added. The default setting (False) retains current Calibration Results report behavior of excluding calibrations set to exclude in the editor, setting to True will include calibrations that are marked with exclude and denote them with an ‘E’.
- “Puts”/inserts to the Monitor QA tables via the AirVision API logic updated for handling of UnitCode and MethodCode:
- IF a UnitCode is specified in the put, use that code for the resulting MA record entry
- IF a UnitCode is NOT specified in the put, look up the unit code from the parameter’s configuration (Site/Parm) and use that code IF configured
- IF NO UnitCode is specified in the put, AND NO UnitCode is configured for the parameter (Site/Parm), leave field blank/null
- IF a MethodCode is specified in the put, use that code for the resulting MA record entry
- IF a MethodCode is NOT specified in the put, look up the method code from the parameter’s configuration (Site/Parm) and use that code IF configured
- IF NO MethodCode is specified in the put, AND NO MethodCode is configured for the parameter (Site/Parm), leave field blank/null
Site Node Logger
- An issue was addressed where a General Channel set to the channel type of ‘Difference’ would not work when referencing an extended average of the input channel.
- Code has been updated so that toggling the Enabled status of a calibration sequence in SNL Toolbox will trigger the needed service restart to apply the changed status.
- A UtilitySetting (UseLowRocFlagMode) was added. The default setting is False, setting to True will change the logic so that data is flagged when change from one average to another is less than or equal to instead of greater than.
- An issue was addressed where the horizontal scroll bar in the grid section of the Realtime Data Trending display wasn’t appearing.

- In the Work Item Editor, the Notification tab was renamed to Notification Status to be more descriptive of its contents.
- USEPA Asset Report updated
- Asset owner report field was previously showing the agency code + name, now only includes the name
- State field now displays full name, not the abbreviation
- Asset status “In Use” corrected to “In-Use”
- A dollar sign is now placed in front of the asset price field
- Date field now formatted as MM/dd/yyyy (no time displayed)
- ‘EPA Comment’ field added to report and available to edit on the Additional Details tab in the Asset Tracking editor
- ‘Asset Purchase Price’ column of report now populates with the Acquisition Price if filled in, if not if the cost level is filled in it will be used
- ‘Exclude From EPA Report’ option available on the Additional Details tab in the Asset Tracking editor to exclude items from the report
- Code updated to support 8864 Vector/Scalar Wind Speed/Direction GSI (V/W/7/8) channels to have any channel type set as the input channel.
- Code updated to support 3rd command (logout) for Pyxis API polling.
New Features
- Calibration Drift Graph report added which displays difference from expected value and zero.
- If an AV-Doc is attached during work item completion, that attachment will also be linked to the logbook entry made denoting the completion action.
- Site Group column has been added to the Work Item Completion editor.
- Expanded Group Permissions added for more granular control of the Asset Tracking editor
- Existing permission “Asset Tracking” is still required in order to access the editor
- New permission “Asset Tracking Simple Editing Allowed” allows only: Assign Asset, edit Condition and Status
- New permission “Asset Tracking Advanced Editing Allowed” for full editing of the asset details/properties
- Existing permissions “Asset Tracking History Edit Allowed” and “Asset Tracking History Delete Allowed” are still used for the history grids (assignment history, cert history, user assignment history)
- Work Item Editor and Work Item Completion updated so that overdue dates will be red highlighted.
- Group Permission added – “Work Items Show All Users” – to control access to Work Item Completion ‘Show All Users’ ribbon button.
- Work Item Editor now allows assigning an AirVision user as a ‘Supervisor’ to a Work item and that user would get notification of overdue work items associated with them.
- Feature added to Asset Tracking to allow assigning an asset to a AirVision user and track the history of those assignments.
- Cost Level pick list added to Additional Details tab in the Asset Tracking editor
- For assets defined as ‘Unspecified’ there is now an EPA Asset Type pick list on the Asset Tracking -> Additional Details tab where a ‘secondary type’ can be defined.
- Tooltips have been added in the Asset Tracking editor on some fields which are named differently than the USEPA Asset Report to help indicate which field relates to the report output columns.

Site Node Logger
- A utility setting (ShowCollectionColumn) is available to hide the ‘Collection’ column in the Site Node Logger Toolbox for agencies with issues discerning Collection from Disable options.
- Logic updated so that Merge Channels with a disabled input channel will ignore the disabled channel and use the other as the valid input.
